Le 19 juin 2017, le bâtiment de transport léger (BATRAL) Dumont d’Urville a appareillé de la base navale de Fort-de-France pour un dernier déploiement en direction de la métropole où il sera désarmé. Les Antilles ont salué à leur manière le départ du Dumont d’Urville.
